Recently, Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) has officially invited Ms. Nguyen Hong Loan, Director of Green Climate Innovation Company Limited (GreenCIC), to join Working Group 2 on "Green Finance and ESG" for the 2026–2028 term as a Technical Expert Advisor.
With a focus on promoting ESG practices and expanding business access to green finance, Working Group 2 was established to connect enterprises with financial institutions and policymaking authorities. For the 2026-2028 period, the Working Group focuses on developing practical tools and solutions to mobilize capital flows into green and transition activities, while providing policy recommendations to refine frameworks on ESG and sustainable finance in Vietnam.

At Working Group 2, Ms. Loan contributes technical expertise across greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction, green finance and ESG, ranging from emission accounting and verification to the implementation of standards and digital tools for ESG assessment. Furthermore, her extensive background in research and policy advisory on climate policy and carbon markets will provide practical insights to support the development of green finance solutions tailored for Vietnamese enterprises.
The engagement of GreenCIC's Director with VBCSD-VCCI reaffirms the company's position and capabilities in the field of climate change, while highlighting its strong commitment to supporting the Vietnamese business community in its transition toward Net Zero.
